The secret is out. We aren’t fooling anyone, if we ever were. Trying harder, attending church more, being a better person, these attempts to fix sexual brokenness aren’t working. There must be a better way.
64% of Christian men and 30% of Christian women regularly view pornography.*
God gave humanity sex as a way to experience intimacy not just physically, but on an emotional and spiritual level as well. And yet, this beautiful connection has been corrupted, commoditized, and monetized. The sex industry is so alluring because of what the addiction treatment community refers to as the 3 A’s: anonymity, affordability, and availability.
As a result, porn is a $97 billion industry, with as much as $12 billion of that coming from the United States. Porn sites receive more monthly traffic than Netflix, Amazon, and X combined. In fact, according to researcher and author Jay Stringer, people watched 4.6 billion hours worth of pornographic videos on a single site in just one year. That’s around 5,000 centuries’ worth of time.
The ripple effect sexual brokenness has on our world is profound. Pornography doubles the probability of a couple getting divorced. And by the time children become teens and young adults, 62% of them will have received a sext (sexually explicit image via text), and 41% will have sent one.
Combatting sexual brokenness with real solutions that are biblically-based, scientifically informed, and gospel-centered isn’t just a responsibility—it’s an opportunity for revival and growth.

Traffickinghub. Along with the Justice Defense Fund, Traffickinghub aims to shut down Pornhub and hold its executives accountable for enabling, distributing, and profiting from sex trafficking. They've already made major strides: all credit card companies have cut ties with the site and Pornhub has lost their social media accounts and major advertisers. But we're not done yet.
